Hi Folks,
After 7 months of hard work on the house it was now time to tackle the garden. Changing the borders, plants, scrubs and the gate we started on the garden house.
First a weekend of ground work with our neighbour and then with my brother and my sister and her hubby to lend a hand.
They say that with witchcraft a lot can be done well, I think that’s true. Look at the result, a nice little “cottage” with two witches in top to tell Ruud where the next storm is coming from and the “True Blue” Australia sign in the corner.
At the end of the weekend we toasted on “a good job done”
But for now, all things come to an end, the work is done, and time for the summer holidays. Four weeks, no work, just lazing around. Going places, meeting new people, seeing new sights.
First stop, the little working farm camping where we have our little caravan. Just e few days to get the stress out of our system and then tomorrow off to Berlin. We were there before with our Australian friend Irene Ireland on her European tour. Now it’s Ruud’s turn to see Check Point Charlie. Stay tuned there’s more to come!!!
