Winter Wonderland with Joop Mul

Today we were on the road again driving through a "winter wonderland" with our Aussie friend Joop Mul.
The regular readers of our travels will have seen his name appear on every trip we have made and now he is in Holland showing us "his Holland", and all the places that have a special memory for him.
We started by crossing the Ijssel Lake, Irene you will remember that you were there on a rainy windy Dutch summer day.
Today it was like driving through a Christmas card, Jack Frost, or as we call it in Dutch, "Koning Winter" really did his best to give Joop a special treatment. We had a great time seeing the places Joop remembered after all these years.
It was something like our first trip to Australia and the European Tour with Irene, in search of the past.
"On the road again' met onze speciale vriend Joop Mul door een Nederlands winter wonderland en samen beleven wij Nederland door zijn ogen met plaatsen waar hij een speciale herinnering aan heeft. Eerst via de Afsluitdijk, naar het Stavoren en 'zijn vrouwtje', Vierhouten en de Veluwe. Dank je wel 'Koning Winter'. Voor Joop en ons een onvergetelijke dag.

Wat een fijne ervaring was dat.
Alle foto's vind ik mooi gezien. Vind de foto van mij, met het Vrouwtje en de brug op de achtergrond, extra mooi gezien!!
