Day 2: Mijas Pueblo

Our first stop was Mijas Pueblo, one of the jewels of the Costa del Sol. The beautiful village nestles nestles comfortably in the mountainside at 400 meters above sea level and about 10km from the coast.
The village is well known for its donkey rides but it also has a scenic route a luxurious ride with horse and carriage.
Wandering through the village we worked up an appetite and had “comida” in our favorite restaurant La Reja.
The old “ Plaza de Torres” the bull ring is well worth the visit. It is one of the smallest and has an oval vorm and is now a museum.
