Hello John,
Is this really happening, all these people responding to my message to find friends that have known me and my family.
I will certainly look out for you. Is that your wedding photo John? The one I placed on the previous message.
Gerrit de Vries who started the ball rolling wrote me that there will be a farm day on the 21st. I hope you will be there. I will try and organize some sort of reunion, because there is so much that I want to ask all of you that it won’t fit in those few days. I will send you all a personal mail to inform you about Sunday.
It’s going to be a busy week, packing and making a good timetable so that we can meet up with everyone.
Stay tuned, it won’t be long till we meet again.

Ik heb bij jullie het huwelijk feest mogen houden. Dit was op het idea van je moeder. Ik heb eens goed naar de foto gekeken maar kan mij eigen er niet op erkennen.
It was your mother's suggestion that we had our wedding celebration at your house. I had a good look at the photo but can not recognize myself on it. I read that Gerry had mentioned the Dutch Farm. This is all I know about it. I recently received the Dutch News Bulletin but there was no mention of it. If you here more about it please let me know. Could possibly attend with a friend from Naracoorte who will be staying with me for a couple of days. May even see you again in Naracoorte. Who knows? Each time I read your report you speak of "We". Can you elaborate please? It is only going to be another 12 days..I know because then it is my birthday. What a present!!! -

Hallo Marion:
Leuk weer van je te horen en wens jullie een heel goede reis to maar laat me even weten waar jullie de ontmoeting hebben want demensen die reageren kan ik me niet plaatsen.
Hopelijk word het weer wat beter voor jullie want tot hden is het niet bepaald om over naar huis te schrijven. Ook de tijd is erg kort en zou het jammer vinden je te missen al zal het allemaal heel vreems voorkomen na 50 jaar.
Nu hopelijk nog eens tot horens en houd de moed er in het word een lange reis maar ik heb het vel gedaan en nooit geen spijt gehad dus tot horens groeten ook aan Ruud Miep Hoeben/Nicolaas -
