Since February I have been looking at the world from a different perspective. It’s now me, my camera and I. At the Amsterdam School of Photography I am learning how to become a professional photographer. Nearing the end of the first semester my teacher asked if someone would like to join the end of term group for a photographic trip to Istanbul. Well by now you know that I’m always in for new and exciting experiences and a quick phone call to my mate Ruud turned the lights on green. Within a week I had to finish off three week work on my end of term presentation and get things organized for the trip.
Today I am flying to Istanbul and back on Friday the 17th. The next day however I’ll be on the plane again for a two weeks holiday in Antalya, Turkey.
So you see retirement is never dull, it just opens new doors and new roads to travel. Stay with me and see what I’m up to again.

Jan Van Dulken:
Have a good one. I think I might do the same thing and go back to my photography classes.
