02 September 2011 | Australië, Bathurst
Last night we arrived at the B&B Farm Gate Drive in Bathurst and were welcomed by Betty and Bill.
We are today touring the town and in the afternoon off to Orange to visit the grave of Banjo Patterson, the writer of 'Waltzing Mathilda' and 'The Man From Snowy River'.
Stay tuned for more....

Joop Mul:
"Then fast the horsemen followed, where the gorges deep and black
Resounded to the thunder of their tread,
And the stock-whips woke the echoes, and they fiercely answered back
From cliffs and crags that beetled overhead.
And upward, ever upward, the wild horses held their way,
Where mountain ash and kurrajong grew wide;
And the old man muttered fiercely, "We may bid the mob good day,
No man can hold them down the other side".

Mieke:
Leuk dat ik jullie tijd in Australië zo heb kunnen volgen, ik wens jullie nog een paar mooie laatste dagen toe.
En daarna een goede reis terug naar Nederland.
Groetjes, Mieke
