G'day all,
Living underground seems unreal but it’s actually quite comfortable. Just dig a hole in the ground, and make it into separate square chambers. Need another room just dig it out and you’ve got your extra space. All the luxuries we enjoy above ground are in these special houses.
Coober Pedy has about 3000 inhabitants in 40 different nationalities and 200,000 tourists per year. They work the mines when they need money, holes in the ground an leave the dirt piled up next to the hole. The whole place looks like a moon landscape, .... to be continued

Ondergronds leven, het lijkt onwerkelijk, maar is heel comfortabel. Ze graven een gat in de wand van een berg en maken daar vierkante kamers van, voorzien van alle comfort, 3.500 mensen wonen hier, 40 nationaliteiten en 200 000 toeristen bezoeken het stadje jaarlijks.
